TekWorks Appoints New Leadership For Orange County Office

TekWorks is pleased to announce the addition of Dave Novak and Jeffrey Marshall to the TekWorks Anaheim office. Tekworks President, William Bourgeois appointed Novak Vice President and Marshall as the Infrastructure Manager of the Anaheim office.

Prior to joining TekWorks, Mr. Novak established and directed the Orange County office of a large audio/visual company and created processes to drive inefficiencies in engineering, project management, and installation. Mr. Marshall’s background includes 18 years of experience in operations, estimating, contracting and project management for all aspects of construction. William Bourgeois, president of TekWorks Inc, said the addition of Novak and Marshall will allow TekWorks in Anaheim to “continue to grow and provide the superior customer service our clients require”.

Brian Yandell to Manage AV Dept.

TekWorks has recently hired Brian Yandell to manage the Audio Visual Department. Throughout the past 11 years Brian has been a highly effective manager of personnel, budgets and assets with a strong work ethic focused on customer satisfaction and company success .

He is technically competent with all aspects of the audio visual industry including equipment, components, software, and systems and is able to adapt to new environments, procedures, and methods.

Western Digital Structured Cabling, Irvine

TekWorks recently successfully completed Phase 1 and Phase 2 for the structured cabling project for Western Digital’s new 3 story, 380,000 sq. ft. facility in Irvine, CA. The structured cabling project includes the installation of over 13,000 Category 6 Voice/Data cables for workstations, Multiple Telecommunication Room build-outs, and multi-pair copper/fiber riser cabling.

Illumina San Diego Facility

TekWorks recently successfully completed Buildings One and Two for the structured cabling and audio visual project for Illumina’s new facility in San Diego, CA. The structured cabling portion of the project included the installation of over 6,500 Category 6 Voice/Data cables for workstations, multiple Telecommunication Room build-outs, and multi-pair copper/fiber riser cabling. The audio visual portion of the project included the integration of over 80 rooms. There were multiple room types which include small, medium and large conference rooms, break rooms, executive board rooms, CEO Offices and miscellaneous employee collaborative areas

TekWorks was awarded the structured cabling and data center cabling project for Hitachi Data Systems’ new 2 story 60,000 sq. ft. facility in San Diego. The structured cabling project includes the installation of over 700 Voice/Data cables for workstations, build-out of their 600 sq. ft. main computer room, 1st and 2nd floor Intermediate distribution closets, and multi-pair copper riser cabling.

The cabling project for Hitachi’s new 3,500 sq. ft. data center includes the installation of over 3,000 strands of 50/125µm Multi-Mode 10GbE fiber optic cabling, approximately 300 strands of Single-Mode fiber optic cabling, and almost 3,000 ports of Category 6 cable.
