TekWorks was awarded the structured cabling and data center cabling project for Hitachi Data Systems’ new 2 story 60,000 sq. ft. facility in San Diego. The structured cabling project includes the installation of over 700 Voice/Data cables for workstations, build-out of their 600 sq. ft. main computer room, 1st and 2nd floor Intermediate distribution closets, and multi-pair copper riser cabling.

The cabling project for Hitachi’s new 3,500 sq. ft. data center includes the installation of over 3,000 strands of 50/125µm Multi-Mode 10GbE fiber optic cabling, approximately 300 strands of Single-Mode fiber optic cabling, and almost 3,000 ports of Category 6 cable.
